Trying to get back into jogging/running/things that I’ve been hesitant to do because of lack of self-confidence. I jogged today for a total of 9 minutes and walked at full-incline for small rests in-between during a total of 15 minutes. I’m building up my endurance again and I’m starting at square-1.    😐😐😐 I used to be able to do a 9-minute mile, and a 5k in under 30 minutes. It doesn’t sound like much but they were  accomplishments for me: to be able to run continuously without stopping. It was like magic to me since I had never been able to do that in my life ever. It’s hard to run when you’re obese and especially when you hit 300#. πŸ™Œ I haven’t even attempted actual jogging in a long time because of some knee pain, but mainly because I was hesitant. Seeing such a decrease in progress made me not want to do it all. But, that’s counterproductive in every sense way, isn’t it? Yes. We all start somewhere. My sweat puddle and handprints from today’s workout. πŸ™† 5 rounds: 10 deadlifts @135# / 12 lunges @50# / 40 second push-up plank. πŸ’ͺ Thennnn 60 burpee box-jumps…which was increased to a goal of 100 burpee box jumps.😡  I made it to 79 of them in 15 minutes. 😭 They weren’t the prettiest, nor were they quick.  They’re a mindfuck for me. Burpee box-jumps or any kind of burpees aren’t as difficult as I perceive them to be, but I struggled through them anyways. Dark chocolate protein popcorn. πŸ˜›πŸ«πŸ«πŸ«πŸ« When my sugar cravings act up, I used to throw all healthy thoughts out the window and grab whatever is available, even if that means stopping for candy at the store. πŸ˜₯ I’m relearning to get a handle on my cravings and I’m enjoying it more now. It doesn’t look like much but it’s more amazing than the photo portrays. Salty and sweet and not too bad for you. Low calorie, moderate carbs. πŸ‘ whey ISOLATE in chocolate added to melted dark chocolate chips with water. Add more water as needed until you can get a thick drizzle. Pour over a serving of popcorn and toss!  (I used a plain one and added some salt).

He’s one of the most genuine people I’ve met and he treats me better than I could even ever imagine being treated.
